A healthy body needs no medicine. The Department of Physical Education, VC&RI, Theni has been established with a motto to keep the budding vets healthy and fit. The benefit of playing sports include balanced mental growth, teamwork, self-discipline, self-confidence etc. This department has vowed to shape the students into good sports persons. Infrastructure facilities to cater the needs of different sports and games like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Table tennis, Shuttle badminton Racquet and Cock, Discus throw, Javelin throw, Shotput throw, Carrom, Chess etc. for the use of students and staff have been established.
The following temporary play fields are available for students to participate in various sports activities:
