Computing and Internet facilities in VCRI, Orathanadu

Genesis and Objectives

A separate Computer Centre attached with Department of Animal genetics and Breeding is functioning in Veterinary College and Research Institute, Orathanadu. In this centre a total of 15 computers with broadband connectivity to all the computers is available.

The main objectives of this centre to:

  • To teach Animal Husbandry Statistics and Computer applications subject to under graduate (B.V.Sc.,) students of Veterinary College and Research Institute, Orathnadu
  • To provide internet access to the staff and students of Veterinary College and Research Institute, Orathnadu
  • To manage computer network facility of Veterinary College and Research Institute, Orathnadu.
