This department has been established for offering Undergraduate courses and has well equipped computer laboratory and cytogenetics Genetics Laboratory. Besides imparting quality education, the department will involve in formulating new research projects /schemes with financial assistance from extramural funding agencies on molecular characterization of trait specific genes pertaining to production, reproduction and disease resistance.
