Education

At present, the College is offering B.Tech., (Poultry Technology) at the undergraduate level with intake of 40 students and M.Tech. (Poultry Technology) at the PG level with intake of 3 students. The B.Tech. (Poultry Technology) is first-of-its kind in our country and the course was duly approved by Govt. of Tamil Nadu and All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi. The course curriculum is based on ICAR – V Dean’s Committee recommendations and comprises Poultry management, Poultry products technology, Poultry engineering and Poultry business management, in order to suit the needs of Poultry Industry. Guest lectures, field trips, industrial visits and skill development programmes are part of the regular educational process.
