Sports Infrastructure

Sports activities in early life teach self discipline, team work, responsibility and more importantly ability to face challenges. By realizing its core importance, College of Poultry Production and Management, Hosur encourages student’s participation in sports activities by creating a amiable environment and providing necessary infrastructure.
Students were under immense pressure during covid pandemic, ascertain the situation CPPM encourages the student’s participation in sports activities after ensuring their physical well being even in tough times. Regular provision of recurring items is purchased for utilization by the students for their sports activities.

Student’s participation at Various Sports Events

Due to COVID Pandemic, conduct of sports activities at various places was withheld. Though, our students of CPPM were actively participated and won medals in various events organized on the pre covid period. The lists are as follows.

National level

Mr.P.Bharathi Raja, BTP 18003 of II year B.Tech (PT), College of Poultry Production and Management have participated and won Gold medal in 52-56 kg category in South Zone Boxing Championship (2019-20)held at Namakkal from 17th-20th May 2019.

State level

Mr.P.Bharathi Raja, BTP 18003 of II year B.Tech (PT), College of Poultry Production and Management bagged Gold medal in 60 kg category in State senior men boxing Championship (2019-20) held at Chennai from 26th – 29th December 2019.

TANUVAS – Inter Collegiate Chess Men and Women Tournament – 2020

K.Sharma, BTP 18019 and M.Sanjay Kumar, BTP 18017 of II year B.Tech (PT), CPPM were participated in the TANUVAS – Inter Collegiate Chess Men and Women Tournament – 2020 held at Namakkal on 12.02.2020.

Intra College Annual Sports Meet 2021

Fourth Intra College games and Sports Meet of College of Poultry Production and Management, Hosur was successfully conducted during Dec 2021 and Jan 2022. Students were grouped under three teams named as TEAM OSTRICH, TEAM RHEA and TEAM KIWI. Various group and Individual athletic events were conducted with active participation of Students and Staff.
