2011-12	Inception of B.Tech. (Poultry Production technology) with annual intake of 20 Students. The course was offered initially at the College of Food and Dairy Technology (CFDT) Campus in Koduvalli, Chennai.
2013-14	Upgrading of Institute of Poultry Production and Management, Hosur to College of Poultry Production and Management (CPPM), Hosur
2014-15	Shifting of B.Tech. (Poultry Production Technology) program from CFDT campus, Koduvalli to CPPM, Hosur.
2015-16	Graduation of first batch B.Tech. (Poultry Production Technology) students.
2016-17	Renaming of B.Tech. (Poultry Production Technology) to B.Tech (Poultry Technology)
2017-18	Approval of B.Tech. (Poultry Technology) at CPPM, Hosur by AICTE, New Delhi. Increase of annual student intake from 20 to 40.
2019-20	Inception of M.Tech. (Poultry Technology) program
