INFRASTRUCTURE

The administrative, academic and other infrastructural and laboratory facilities including dairy and meat processing plants, livestock farm complex to impart animal production techniques and a veterinary clinical complex to diagnose and treat the animals are in place to impart education, train the undergraduate students in veterinary science and animal husbandry with state-of-the-art facilities.

Administrative block

Administrative block includes deans chamber, deans office, education cell, bio-engineering section, server room, computer room, mini-conference hall, mini-auditorium, examination hall, evaluation hall and VIP lounge

Academic Blocks (08)

Houses undergraduate labs for each academic discipline, practical classrooms, mini-lecture hall, gallery type lecture halls to accommodate 90 to 100 students, seminar hall, group discussion room, audio-visual technology lab, Photography cum Graphic unit, livestock advisory unit, skill development lab, large animal operation theatre, small animal operation theatre, X ray imaging facility, central information lab, central diagnostic lab, central simulation lab, pharmacy lab, experimental pharmacology lab, Toxicology lab, Entomology and Protozoology lab, Helminthology lab, Physiology lab, Biochemistry lab, Analytical equipment and maintenance lab, Feed processing and mixing lab, energy metabolism lab, Feed and Fodder analysis lab, Central Computer lab, Clinical pathology lab, Histopathology lab, Immunology lab, Bacteriology and Mycology lab, Virology lab and many other facilities

Houses ward for small animals such as gynaecological unit, surgery unit, medical unit, dermatology unit, small animal operation theatre, physio ambulatory therapy, ICU for small animals, pharmacy, drug store, endoscopy unit, radiology unit and administrative office
Houses ward for large animals such as gynaecological unit, surgery, large animal medical examination unit, large animal operation theatre
Isolation ward such as large animal isolation ward, small animal isolation ward and rabies ward are also in place to benefit the people
Clinical lab, record room, AV room, Museum, Faculty Rooms, Non-teaching staff room, administrative office, Internee room for boys and girls are also in place
