Salient Achievements: Proposals Won during 2021-22
Two schemes namely “Establishment of Madras Red Sheep Input Centre” and “Establishment of modern Salem Black Goat farm” with a total budget outlay of Rs.434.75 lakhs have been sanctioned to TANUVAS and implemented under National Agricultural Development Programme to conserve native sheep and goat germplasms of Tamil Nadu
Under National Agricultural Development Programme, Zoonotic disease diagnostic laboratory is being established in the Cauvery delta region of Tamil Nadu with a budget outlay of Rs.254.50 lakhs to cater the needs of the delta region for the diagnosis and management of zoonotically important diseases
