The college has a full fledged indoor stadium with gym facilities in addition to facilities for outdoor games like cricket, foot ball, volley ball, basket ball, etc. Students are motivated to actively participate in the state and national level meets
Physical education is offered as one of the compulsory co-curricular activities for students admitted from 2009-10
Annual Sports Day of Madras Veterinary College is being conducted every year. The overall team championship for sports and the championship for games are offered for the best performance. Individual Women Championship, Individual Men Championship and winners of various games like volley ball, table tennis, basket-ball and athletes are awarded with prizes and medals

MVC, Chennai student C. Kartik has participated in the in the 48th State Senior Tennikoit Championship 2025 at Vellammal Vidhyashram, Surapet, Chennai from 01.08.2025 to 03.08.2025

Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University conducted the Inter-Collegiate Sports Competition KURUKSHETRA” on 20.08.2025. Our college won the Overall championship in the above tournament. Our students emerged as winners in the following games. I accompanied the teams and served as the Team Manager during the tournament.

Madras Veterinary College, Chennai student V. Srinithi participated in the 17th Senior State Level Soft Tennis Championship 2025, held on 04.10.2025 and 05.10.2025 at Salem Soft Tennis Academy.She got a bronze medal.

Madras Veterinary College, Chennai student R Premanathan participated in the 35th Senior National Sepaktakraw Championship held at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Madgaon, Goa from 23rd to 27th October 2025 as player and secured third Place in the men team event.

Students of Madras Veterinary College, Chennai, participated in the district-level CM Trophy Football Tournament held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, chennai. The football tournament were conducted from 01.09.2025 to 05.09.2025.

Students of Madras Veterinary College, Chennai, participated in the district-level CM Trophy cricket Tournament held at SDAR-GHSS Ashok nagar ground on 27.08.2025 and 28.508.2025.

Students of Madras Veterinary College, Chennai, participated in the district-level CM Trophy basketball Tournament held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, chennai.

V. Srinithi, a BVSC and AH student with registration number BVM24108, participated in the 6th federation Cup soft tennis championship, ASMITA khelo india women Senior held at SAG Sports Complex, Nicol, Ahmedabad from March 23, 2026, to March 26, 2026, and won a gold medal.

College Annual Sports Day-2025

The Annual Sports Day of Madras Veterinary College was conducted on 15th july2025 at the College Playground. The Sports Day was declared open by the Chief Guest Mrs.L.Sujatha,M.Phil,General Manager, Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu,Chennai and Dr.C.Soundararajan, Ph.D, Dean, Madras Veterinary College. Athletic events were conducted for the students and various games for the faculty and staff of Madras Veterinary College was held on that day. the students for their participation in various games at College and University level. Dr.S.Ezhilarasi Ph.D,University Asst. Director of Phy. Edn deliver the welcome address while Dr.A.Gopinathan, Sports Secretary & Professor delivered the vote of thanks.
