The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS), Chennai, an autonomous Educational, Research and Development Institution established during 1989 with its headquarters at Chennai is publishing a research journal since 1972. The title of the journal in the initial years was Cheiron. Currently the research journal is published as “Indian Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Research” (IJVASR). The membership is open for all the faculties, research scholars and students in the field of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, basic science, food science and fisheries sciences. This Journal is published bi-monthly by Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai in February, April, June, August, October and December of every year. The subscription fees (Life membership/Annual) for the Journal are as follows:

Subscriptions are payable in advance and the subscription rates are inclusive of postal charges. Demand draft shall be drawn in favour of “The Editor, IJVASR & Director of Research, TANUVAS, Chennai-51". Advance payment of annual subscription is solicited for uninterrupted supply of the journal. The Editorial Board in accordance with the order of Registrar, TANUVAS has decided to collect the processing fee from the authors for the research articles at the time of submission for publication as follows:

The Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Research (IJVASR) has decided to collect Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) as processing fee in accordance with the order of Registrar, TANUVAS-(U.S.O.No.500601/G4/2016 Proc.No. 5639/G4/2016 dt 3.5.2016), from the authors at the time of submission of articles for publication in the Journal. This would help the authors to hasten the publication of their articles without any delay.

Hence, the corresponding author is requested to draw a demand draft for Rs.500/- in favour of “The Editor, IJVASR & Director of Research, TANUVAS, Chennai-600051”along with the manuscript during submission. The articles may be addressed to the Editor, IJVASR & Director of Research, TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai- 51. The authors are also requested to mention their contact phone number and E-mail address.

The Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Research invites review articles from eminent research scientists in the field of Veterinary and Fisheries Sciences, on the latest/ current topics of interest for publication in the Journal. The review article (both hard and soft copy) may please be sent to the Editor/Associate Editor, Indian Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Research for publication.
