To cater the needs of livestock farmers in the Cauvery Delta Region, 27 research projects obtained from various funding agencies such as ICAR, NADP, TANII, NLM, TNLDA and Government of Tamil Nadu. Currently major projects such as Ethnoveterinary Herbal Product Research and Development Centre, Zoonotic Disease Diagnostic Laboratory in the Cauvery Delta region of Tamil Nadu, Establishment of Resource Centre for Pattanam Sheep are in progress. Herbal garden is established with model herbal plot, green shade net, mist chamber and cultivation of medicinal plants for research and outreach purposes.
