Since its inception, in a short period of time and in a pandemic environment, the faculties of this college have purchased all the equipment and instruments as per the Veterinary Council of India and fulfilled the Minimum Standard of Veterinary Education 2016 (MSVE 2016).

To the first of its kind, the One-day National level seminar on "Indigenous dog rearing cum dog show and exhibition" at Madurai was conducted with a motto of creating awareness to people in indigenous dog rearing and conservation.
To hone the students’ extracurricular skills, various competitions viz., drawing, painting, elocution, quiz and short films were conducted as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and prize winners were awarded with certificates in the recent 76th Independence Day Celebrations.
