DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY MICROBIOLOGY

The Department of Veterinary Microbiology was established during the year 2012 for offering undergraduate B.V.Sc courses. Apart from undergraduate teaching, the Department involves in the research, disease investigation, clinical samples analysis, current knowledge on the antibiogram of the isolated organisms.

Objectives

  • To offer quality education in Veterinary Microbiology to undergraduate.
  • To carryout research to control diseases in animals and birds with financial assistance from the University / External funding agencies
  • To offer diagnostic service to line departments and farmers to improve the health of livestock in delta region.
