The Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology has been established in the year 2023 to offer exemplary veterinary education to develop high-caliber self sustainable veterinary graduates. The department has been actively involved in delivering standard veterinary clinical services to mitigate animal suffering, promote farm animal output and advance the health and well-being of companion animals. Furthermore, the department works to enhance the veterinary surgical abilities of practicing veterinarians through the execution of continuing veterinary education programs and offer expertise for the betterment of farm and companion animals. The Department is aiming to provide necessary assistance for the problem based clinical research and knowledge transfer in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology niches.

The Department provides Veterinary Surgery and Radiology courses in accordance with the Veterinary Council of India's Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education 2016 syllabus.
