Department of Veterinary Medicine

The Department of Veterinary Medicine has been established in the year 2023with the total area of 8995.36 sq.ft having the state-of-the-art facilities to teach clinical acumen toundergraduate students and rending the quality referral medical services to the livestock and pet animals.

Objectives

To impart undergraduate education to students.
To carryout diagnosis and treatment of animals.
To offer specialized referral services.
To offer technical advices to farmers regarding managemental practices of farm and pet animal disease prevention.
To conduct training programme to the field veterinarians.

Education

The department is offering courses on Veterinary Medicine to the undergraduate students as per the MSVE 2016 regulations.

The department is having two laboratories to educate the students and to undertake research.
