History

Farmers Training Centre, Tiruvarur Startedin a rental building from1999 at Ezhil Nagar, Tiruvarur andscaled through different phases, now presently functioning in a permanent building from 03.10.2011 at Kurinchi Nagar, Vilamal, Tiruvarur.

OBJECTIVES

Transfer of livestock and poultry related technologies including natural resources management through frontline extension change agents
Strengthening livestock and poultry research – extension linkage for developing need specific technologies
Promotion of livestock production eco-system through TANUVAS / Entrepreneurs for sustaining livestock based livelihoods
