DEPARTMENT OF DAIRY TECHNOLOGY


The Department of Dairy Technology was initiated in the year 2019 to specifically deal with the production and processing of milk and milk products. At the time of inception, the department was mainly engaged in Under Graduate and post graduate teaching programme formulated by ICAR.

Objectives

Education:

To impart education in processing of milk and milk products for Undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Research:

To conduct research on need based field and industry oriented problems

Extension:

To conduct training programmes and demonstrations on milk and milk products to the farmers, entrepreneurs, rural youths and Self Help Groups.
