On 18 June 2024, at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Tirunelveli, Dr. Deepan Kishore, Medical Director, Neel Veterinary Hospital, Oklahoma City, USA, interacted with the final-year B.V.Sc. & A.H. students and delivered an insightful session on small animal clinical practice in the United States. He shared his professional experiences and provided a comprehensive overview of the scope of small animal practice in the private sector. The session covered key aspects such as licensing procedures for veterinary practice in the USA, eligibility requirements for higher education, pathways for specialization, and opportunities to join academic institutions as faculty, thereby giving students a clear understanding of international clinical standards and career prospects abroad.

On 06 November 2024, at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Tirunelveli, the Placement Cell organized a Campus Interview Drive with participation from reputed organizations such as Heritage Foods (Dairy), Ayurvet Pharma, Suguna Foods, ABT Foods, Mohan Breeder Farm, Sakthi Poultry Pvt. Ltd., Digilence Laboratory (Pondicherry), and the 1962 Mobile Veterinary Unit. The programme provided an excellent platform for graduates to interact with industry representatives and explore employment opportunities, with a total of 92 graduates participating and benefiting from the recruitment initiative.
On 26 June 2025, at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Tirunelveli, Dr. S. Harish Kumar, Veterinary Officer in the Remount Veterinary Corps (RVC) of the Indian Army, delivered an insightful lecture on the role of veterinarians in the armed forces. On 19 February 2026, Dr. S. Mugunthan, Chief General Manager and Chief Information Security Officer at RBI, Mumbai, delivered a detailed lecture on employment opportunities in nationalized banks, private banking institutions, and NABARD. He offered a comprehensive overview of career prospects in government services, agriculture-related sectors, and the banking industry.
On 07 November 2025, at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Tirunelveli, the Placement Cell organized a Campus Interview Drive with participation from reputed organizations such as Suguna Foods (Broiler and Breeder), Sakthi Poultry Pvt Ltd., Sihil Pharma Pvt Ltd, Venky’s (India) Limited, Supertails Hospital, S.S. Pet Clinic Thai Veterinary Hospital and 1962 - Mobile Veterinary Unit. The programme served as an outstanding platform for graduates to engage with industry representatives and explore career opportunities, with 76 graduates actively participating and benefiting from the recruitment drive.
