VETERINARY PHYSIOLOGY AND BIOCHEMISTRY


The Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry has been established in the year 2020 with an aim to impart basic knowledge in the domain of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry to the students and to enhance the animal health and production by undertaking various research activities.

Objectives

  • To offer courses in Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry for undergraduate students and to introduce innovative educational technologies in teaching and students evaluation.
  • To undertake research on thrust areas to enhance the health and productivity of livestock and poultry.
  • To disseminate the advances in techniques/markers for estimation of various physiological and biochemical parameters to field veterinarians by offering training programmes.
